Exclusively accessible from Lauterbrunnen via the Wengernalpbahn cog railway, Wengen is an entirely pedestrian resort town (with the exception of a handful of electric taxis). In other words, it can be explored on skis or on foot, so you can take full advantage of the charm of its typical wooden houses and the amazing views of the surrounding mountains.

The region’s three summits – the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau – proudly tower over the sunny plateau where Wengen is located at an elevation of 1,300 metres.
